Job Criteria

Master's Degree in Social Sciences/MBA with 8-10 years of experience in the field of social development or financial institutions preferably dealing with social/economic sector programs at a community level.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Planning formulation and implementation of operations at Area and Field Offices.
  2. Liaison with the Head Office operations team to implement policies of the organization and provide strategic direction to staff for running the operations.
  3. Furnish daily and monthly activity reports to GM Operations.
  4. Maintain monthly performance records of Area offices.
  5. Approve and furnish requests from area offices for release of funds to finance section & ensure funds are transferred in time and ensure that all due funds (recoveries or any other receipts) are received by the head office finance section on time.
  6. Impart trainings and capacity building exercises for the staff involved in managing operations at the field and area level.
  7. Make regular visits to the field and area offices to assess the quality of work and identify various gaps in operation and suggest methods and activities to overcome the issues to Manager Operations.
  8.  Assist in hiring process in coordination with Assistant Manager HR.
  9. Communicate observations made by Internal Auditors, Risk or Compliance on records of field offices to the concerned Area Manager & make suggestions for improvement in standard of performance.
  10. Conduct quarterly performance appraisals of the Area Managers and discuss the performance gaps with them.
  11. Maintain liaison with local administrative and relevant Police Stations in case of any emergency and fraud.
  12. Ensures that LO/TL/FM/AM are conducting field visits on frequent basis
  13. Ensures that proper record keeping is maintained at field office level i.e., loan officer diary, field manager plan, branch plan and daily targets are updated.
  14. Ensures proper village-wise demarcation of area among LOs.
  15. Ensures that staff is facilitating customers for the betterment of customer service.
  16. Ensures that duplicate loans are not given in the same household.
  17. Ensures sustainability of branches.

  2. Ensure implementation of the standardized audit procedures while conducting the audit assignments.
  3. Evaluating the various financial and operational activities in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
  4. Facilitate the branch audit team for operational support from Head office and assist to conclude audit assignments.
  5. Carry on and perform reviews of audit assignments already conducted to check their compliance.
  6. Ensured the achievement of detailed audit work plan by performing assignments related to this position.
  7. Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of departmental activities to ensure in line with organizational activities.
  8. Identify and assess business risks and evaluate internal control systems.
  9. Recommendations for improvement in processes and appropriate cost-effective internal control.
  10. Performs special assignments and other related duties as assigned by the Head of IAD/other senior staff.

Job Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences/Commerce with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the social development /banking sector.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for collection of installments from the clients in the premises of the field office, issuing recovery receipts, making entry in the client book and in the daily recovery sheet.
  2. Responsible to get all the recovery receipts, daily recovery sheet and voucher counter signed by the Field Manager and not collect any installment from any client after the banking hours on the given day.
  3. Hand over all the cash collected in the day to the Field Manager along with the copy of the receipts issued to the clients on the day to be deposited in the Credit Account of the field office within the banking hours.
  4. Ensure that the amount handed over to the field manager to be deposited in bank reconciles with the total of installments collected appearing in the daily recovery sheet and the total of all receipts issued on that day. If there is variance, a note signed by the field manager and accountant should be attached with the daily recovery sheet along with the bank deposit slip and the green copy of the receipts issued on that date.
  5. Input all transactions in the MIS and generate reports as required by the Field Manager from time to time.
