Job Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences/Commerce with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the social development /banking sector.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Documentation verification of all submitted Loan applications in LTS prepared for final appraisal.
  2. Conduct 100% clients ‘social and technical (business cash flow & client poverty scorecard) appraisal at the client’s doorstep and form an independent opinion regarding the approval or rejection of the loan.
  3. Attend the Loan approving committee meeting to discuss the disputed loan cases and to finalize them.
  4. Acceptance and rejection of loans with clear remarks through their own login in LTS.
  5. Use of GPS device to record the clients’ location, data compilation and editing in the computer system and reporting to Assistant Manager Risk
  6. Identification of staff corruption.
  7. Identification of commission agent/CM bribes.
  8. Maintain discipline at the area office.
  9. Discharge special responsibilities assigned by the Manager Risk

Job Responsibilities

Compliance officer will primarily be responsible for DSP’s effective compliance relating to:

1. Collect and consolidate data from various system for analysis monitoring & reporting;

2. Identify efficiencies and work to improve ongoing processes;

3. Investigate and resolve data issues;

4. Prepare formats to simplify compliance reporting (i.e., KYC/AML) and enhance its relevance;

6. Monitoring of out of pattern transactions in accounts and investigate for filling Compliance Assessment report

7. Monitoring of KYR Periodic Review of all Field Offices and ensure that KYR review has been done, follow up with field offices for pending KYC review

8. Monitoring of Branchless Banking Transactions

9. Responsible to assist Manager to manage Compliance MIS and automate reporting and to conduct Compliance data analysis

10. Monitoring, preparation and submission of reports to supervisor.

11. Ensure recordkeeping of compliance data.

Minimum fourteen (14) year of education in Social Sciences with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the social development /banking sector.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for/to

  1. Open 2 bank accounts in the name of DAMEN in closest vicinity of field office.
  2. Appoint loan officer at field office and select new areas for the expansion of operations.
  3. Organize periodic planning meetings with staff to set targets for the expansion of work.
  4. Organize Loan Approval Committee meetings on weekly basis and compile a final list of the approved and rejected loans and hand over one copy to the Area Manager.
  5. Maintain 2400-2500 clients at his/her field office.
  6. Deposit all cash collected in the day in the “Credit Account” of the field office within the banking hours.
  7. Submit weekly loan request from, list of loans disbursed, summary of loans disbursed and recovery on bi-monthly basis, consolidated fund wise statement of loans disbursed and collected with break-up of principle and mark-up during the month along with cheques of principle and mark-up, receipt and payment statement, list of stuck-up loans on monthly basis, request for printed stationery for the quarter, information on the death of client along with required documents and any other document required by the area manager.
  8. Ensure the safety and maintenance of office furniture, equipment & ensure that office property is not mis-utilized.
  9. Assists the recovery team in recovering stuck-up loans in his/her field office.
  10. Collect and compile the activity reports from his/her staff on weekly basis.
  11. Spell out any capacity building requirements to improve staff efficiency.
  12. Facilitate the Internal Audit team to undertake periodic internal audit and provide required documents and information demanded by the internal auditors.
